Company incorporation can generally be completed while you are overseas, subject to ACRA requirements and the Corporate Service Provider’s identity verification and due diligence procedures.
However, this does not mean every related process can always be completed without visiting Singapore. For example, a candidate may be overseas when an Employment Pass application is submitted, but must be in Singapore when the approved pass is issued and may need to attend registration for fingerprints and a photograph. Banks and other institutions may also require in-person steps depending on their own KYC policies.
